Delaney Hady

Hi there! My name is Delaney.

I am a student at MidAmerica Nazarene University pursuing a master’s degree in Marriage, Couple, and Family Counseling, and a graduate of the University of Kansas.  After 3 years of my own personal therapy, I went on to pursue a career in counseling.  I found that going to counseling was one of the most transformative experiences in my life.  I gained so much healing, and I believe that you can too.

During my time at KU I studied art and visual storytelling. I believe that we all have stories we carry with us. Some stories we are born into, and others we take on and create ourselves. Our families, relationships, experiences, sense of self, and identity are all wrapped up in these stories. Sometimes these narratives can hurt us and leave us feeling stuck. My hope as a counseling intern is that we would begin to look at your story together and develop a new one that will help you grow towards your version of health and empowerment.  You are the expert on your own experience.  Together we will gain more understanding and self compassion.

I have been married for two wonderful years. When I am not at school or seeing clients, I am working as a wedding and elopement photographer. I have owned my business for 5 years and have known for a long time that I love to work with couples, problem solve, and help folks discovery how to live and be wholly themselves.
